Offshore Technology Conference 2023 Highlight – The collaboration with Oceanscan, the leading international equipment company provider

After 2 years of Covid lockdown, OTC welcomed more than 31,000 participants this year, a 30 percent increase from last year’s conference. 


This year’s technical program comprised 49 sessions, including 25 executive dialogues and keynote speakers, 14 panels, five networking events, and six countries showcased through the Around the World Series.

The conference's primary focus is reducing CO² emissions, and CCS also discusses how to increase fuel efficiency and cut emissions. Many companies made their promises on sustainability in the energy transition by using new solutions and new tech, a successful case study on SLB, helped their customers just by changing the way of consumption on oil and gas by using the new technologies, which came to result in drastically reducing 700,000 tons of CO² last year. The other topic such as the key to success is collaboration across the value chain and the case study on Guyana’s carbon credits.
