Sunny Bright Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) is now the first Taiwan bunkering services qualification vessel for offshore wind farm working ships.

The ship was registered under the Taiwanese flag in August 2022 and is meant to support the offshore wind farm construction in Taiwan Strait from the North to the South area. Sunny Bright worked as a survey vessel this spring and has been appraised for her diverse functionalities. With her special deck, she can have ROV control cabins sized up to 20 ft, transport the crews to operate O&M missions, and can execute salvage-related works, and now Sunny Bright is upgraded to a new mission – offshore bunkering.

The bunkering task is a must but a headache for offshore working ships and has always been a time-consuming and budget not wise job, the back and forth from the working station in the sea might increase the traffic risk caused by the weather, with limited berthing space, could be another issue.
