The DWTEK MCIL08M is a 8-contact male Micro Circular Inline connector designed for secure underwater cable-to-cable connection in subsea environments. As an inline connector type, it is ideal for applications that require compact, reliable signal and power transmission between underwater systems, including ROVs, underwater cameras, lights, diver communication equipment, and subsea instrumentation.

Built with durable rubber construction, gold-plated contacts, and a depth rating up to 600 bar / 8,700 psi, the MCIL06M delivers dependable performance for demanding marine and underwater operations.

In-house Testing Facility 1: Multimeters

1. Multimeters: It measures a variety of electrical properties. Multimeters are typically used to measure voltage, resistance, and current, in which case they are also known as volt-ohm-milliammeters, as they include wattmeters, ampmeters, and ohmmeters. Some measurement systems include measurements of additional properties, such as temperature and volume. The purpose of this testing method is to ensure DWTEK's subsea connectors are stable and of high quality for multiple applications.

In-house Testing Facility 2: Megger

2. DWTEK’s connectors all have been through the process. This is used to measure the insulation's resistance. This technique uses a comparison principle, where the resistance of the insulation is compared with the known value of resistance. As the insulation resistance rises, the moving coil's pointer goes towards infinity, while as it falls, it indicates zero resistance.

In-house Testing Facility 3: Pressure Chambers

3. Tested by pressure chambers: stimulate Max. ocean depth of 6,000m and Max. temperature from -20°C to +80°C
